Menu Having previously been EffecTech’s Laboratory Manager, I feel a great sense of pride when I think about my time there. It taught me what a great laboratory and a great business look like. Customer needs and quality were at the heart of every discussion, supported by a culture of caring about why we do what we do. Every measurement result, every label, every certificate, every query, every process, every full stop matters.
I believe gas measurement will only become more vital as protecting our biggest stakeholder, Planet Earth, becomes a greater priority. Stricter compliance requirements, new applications and a rapidly developing digital world will demand even more efficient and accurate measurement.

EffecTech has the right mindset to stay ahead of that change. Technical expertise is matched by courage, curiosity and a willingness to question established approaches, whether that means taking a new instrument apart, studying it and putting it back together, or finding other ways to extend what existing technology can achieve. That combination of gas metrology expertise and an open-minded, innovative culture is something I now see EffecTech bringing to the wider BOC and Linde analytical community.
Being part of Linde gives EffecTech a global platform for sharing knowledge and opens up a much wider network of skills, experience and people from whom we can all learn.
