EffecTech has entered into a 5 year partnership with Shell Global Solutions to provide and co-ordinate a global gas Proficiency Testing (PT) scheme according to ISO 17043 standards. EffecTech will prepare and certify reference gases at their UK laboratory and send them “blind” to Shell laboratories located at their LNG terminals throughout the world.

This is due to our new state-of-the-art gravimetric production facility coupled with our ISO 17025 accredited calibration laboratory at the same site.
Standard analysis – results within 48 hours of sample arriving at our ISO 17025 accredited laboratory – for hydrocarbon and sulphur analysis
Gas Quality Measurements - Our ISO 17020 accredited inspection and ISO 17025 accredited site calibrations will identify system problems and quantify uncertainties in calorific value and carbon emission factors needed to fully comply with fiscal, contractual and the EU Emissions Trading Scheme.
